Recurring contract loads are the foundation of stability for every carrier. To make them even easier to manage, we’ve refreshed the Fixed Routes module. We updated the interface and simplified the list view, while also adding support for new settlement models. 1. Flexible start and a smooth switch to a fixed rate

Until now, running fixed routes often meant agreeing on a set price for a long period. Now—depending on the shipper’s decision—you can operate routes in a flexible mode.

• How it works in practice: The shipper can invite you to a route in flexible mode. You agree on the price on an ongoing basis, seeing how the cooperation develops and how the market behaves.
  
• What you gain: Once the relationship is established and the rates on the route stabilize, you can switch to a fixed rate together at any time. This saves you time on constant negotiations and gives you stable fleet planning.  

2. Opt out with no extra effort.

What sets the Routes module apart from social groups or freight exchanges is the real control you have over the offers that reach you.

• How it works in practice: If a route stops working for you, you can opt out in just a few clicks—no negotiations, no explanations, no waiting for approval.

• What you gain: In groups or exchanges, you can’t simply “unsubscribe” from receiving offers for a specific route. Here you can—anytime, with no unnecessary effort. Keep in mind, however, that opting out is permanent: you can’t undo it yourself, and returning to cooperation on that route requires a new invitation from the shipper.

3. Per-kilometer rates and round-trip / loop settlements 

If you handle loop transports for a customer, you get a level of clarity that wasn’t available before. The system automatically closes the route and includes the return to the starting point in the calculations—so already at the offer stage you can see exactly how many kilometers will be settled.

If the distance set by the shipper seems unrealistic, you can compare it with the distance calculated by our map. You also have room to agree on the rules: you can settle based on GPS, or even based on your odometer declaration.

4. Clear distance calculation rules (no more disputes over kilometers)

Differences between your navigation readings and the customer’s system can be frustrating. The new module puts this in order.

• How it works in practice: From the very beginning—before you even accept the job—you can see in the system which kilometer settlement method has been chosen for the route (e.g., the shipper’s fixed declaration or a GPS reading). 
  
• What you gain: If the standard map estimates the kilometers incorrectly, the shipper can enter a fixed distance agreed with you. This value becomes the primary basis for payment. You get clean, predictable invoicing—no surprises.
